Emerald unveils upgrades

August 7, 2013- The Emerald Community Centre now sports a fresh new look for the main banquet room thanks to assistance from the Federal and Provincial Governemnts and the Community Centre itself.

The upgrades will increase energy efficiency as well as create a bright, welcoming atmosphere for hosting events of all descriptions. New walls, LED lighting, new windows and door were installed as well as new banquet chairs. Work has also been completed on the exterior of the Train Station.

Events are now being booked into 2014.

March 21, 2010 - On July 30, 2009 a lone male caused damage to the outdoor pop vendor at the Emerald Community Centre. If you recognize the individual in the video, please contact the East Prince Detatchment of the RCMP at 436-9300 or Crime Stoppers.
